It was the perfect setting for a girlfriends gathering! The food was excellent and the portions perfect! You don't realize how much food you're getting until there is still another course coming! Our server was lovely and the manager made the 8 year old junior diva feel extra special with the tiara and wand! Perfect choice for restaurant week!

Loved the Wisconsin cheddar cheese experience and the salad with the toasted pine nuts was exceptionally good plus the pure chocolate fondue with dark chocolate was a great way to end the meal. By far the best dinner I have had. Totally worth the 5 star rating. Great atmosphere and the wait staff are very attentive and kind. Plus they're all extremely safety conscious. I'd come back again.

Went for my wife's birthday as it had been awhile since we'd last gone to the Melting Pot. Unfortunately our three month old was feeling ornery so I spent most of the meal calming her or taking her outside. Perhaps not the best venue for ornery babies.

The portioning' a little weird, as "one portion" is just when the pot is filled very little, but the experience is fantastic. The food and the fondues are made very well and everything was delicious. The service was great, and enthusiastic. It's not often that you encounter a dining experience that's "fun," and the Melting Pot is just that!

We sat at table 24 and our waitress bubbly and accommodating. She also worked as a bartender and knew extensively about the wine and alcohol list. The cheese was good but dipping snacks poor for the fondue. But for the price I would totally reccomend to go.

If I could give five stars for service, I would. I was delighted with our server and the pace at which she brought each course. Their Swiss fondue is spectacular! The choice of meats for the next course was broad. My son had all beef, while I was fish and chicken. Of course you must save room for the chocolate course at the end! This is a favorite restaurant, but this ovation excels!

We had a wonderful server (Stephanie) and she really made the meal great. She made a great cheese fondue and was just very sweet. We were celebrating my daughters promotion and Stephanie made a great dessert fruit plate for her saying "Congratulations."

I have been before, but my cousin had not. I was hoping she would love it, and she did. The food was great, but the staff was stellar - everyone from the awesome and clearly knowledgeable bartender to the waiter who was still in training. Their personalities shone through every bit of the process and were delightful. Whoever is in charge of hiring, well-done, you!

We reserved via OpenTable App. Excellent way of booking a reservation. Made a note that we required 2 burners for our dinner.
We arrived to find a table available for 1 burner. as they were very busy that night, however, the Manager - Tanya, requested that we wait for a short while and she was able to accommodate. She also stopped by to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our meal! Exceptional service and great food.

This is, of course, a chain restaurant. If you are familiar with one, you are familiar with them all. This particular location did not differentiate itself from the others I have visited.
For those uninitiated, this is a meal that requires some patience while being very filling. We went for the four-course deal, as it allowed my date, who was a first-timer, a chance to sample a bit of everything: a cheese fondue with bread/fruits/vegetables, a small salad, a main course with a coq au vin broth to cook various meats and pasta, and a chocolate fondue with various desserts and fruits.
Our particular table was in a fairly busy spot. The noise level was still acceptable and allowed for normal conversation. Our waitress was polite, however, she was very inattentive when it came to refilling my water.
My date was enthusiastic about all the courses, which is somewhat surprising as she is sometimes a picky eater. I would describe the courses as not particularly adventurous, however well curated and satisfying.

We really had a great time - great food and GREAT service.
Only complaint was the temperature - with the 'hot pot' in the middle of the table it quite warm and I really feel they could have lowered the temp to compensate.
I HIGHLY recommend the restaurant!!

Service was excellent, as was the food. The restaurant itself is a little dated (decor is dark and the bathroom is oddly configured), but overall it was a great experience. Server asked if we were celebrating anything special (we were) and brought us a lovely complimentary dessert at the end of the meal, which was a very nice touch. Manager also came over to fix a burner issue and then spent some time chatting with us. Customer service was awesome!

This was our first time visiting The Melting Pot and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The server was amazing and exceedingly patient. The food was incredible and the ambiance was perfect! Thank you!

While I would not recommend this restaurant to families (it fits in the romantic date night or girl's night our category), nor would I list it as "kid appropriate' the staff and menu were actually very kid friendly. It was wonderful to be able to have a sophisticated night out with my entire family. Even my vegetarian teenager was pleasantly surprised by the diverse menu options. The staff was very accommodating. Loved every minute of it.
Great place for our third anniversary dinner. We actually got engaged here and I asked to reserve the same table. The manager was very pleasant and made us feel extra special. Our server was very nice and gave us excellent recommendations with mixing the dipping sauces and combining them with our veggies to cook. Only hiccup was we did not realize half price bottles of wine on Wednesday are for the $40 and under ones only!
Melting Pot Mailing List
Melting Pot is a bit pricey (you get a lot of food, but it's not an every-day kind of place), but you can save a lot of money if you join their mailing list and watch for specials. We saved almost $20 when we went during a recent promotion. The entree portions were a LITTLE smaller during the promotion, but since we usually leave uncomfortably full, this just meant we were only stuffed when we left. (We have zero self control with fondue and we can eat a LOT!) Service is sometimes a bit TOO discreet- they don't hover, but sometimes this means your drink sits empty for awhile before it gets noticed. Everyone is very nice when you ask for something, but I'd prefer not to have to wait and ask for a water refill.
Good place for special occasions
Our first time at the Melting Pot was a memorable experience. We went based upon reputation and recommendation of relatives. The occasion was our 33rd wedding anniversary. We chose the four-course meal and it was outstanding. However, you must pace yourself because there is so much food. The quality of the food and the service were both outstanding. Our waiter was very attentive and seemed to want us to have a good experience. Also, the manager stopped by to make sure we were happy. When she found out it was our anniversary, she congratulated us, and then later surprised us with two glasses of free champagne. The prices are high, but the food and service are very good. I would recommend it as a place for a special occasion. It would also be fun for a small group of friends if they expect ahead of time for the prices to be higher than average.
